The Narendra Modi Stadium can accommodate more than 100,000 spectators, making it the largest cricket stadium in the world. That scale gives organizers flexibility in crowd management, security, logistics, and ticket demand.
The stadium has also become familiar with hosting global events under pressure. It staged the 2023 ODI World Cup final and earlier this year hosted the 2026 T20 World Cup final. Those experiences strengthened its reputation as a venue capable of handling cricket’s biggest nights without complications.

Full IPL 2026 Playoff Schedule
